Safe N Simple Skin Barrier Waterproof Arc is gentle on the skin. It is an alternative to tape and water resistant ideal to picture frame the wafer to seal. This skin friendly and hydrocolloid arc with high tact and good adhesion is a barrier to adhesives and tapes. Protects the skin from trauma caused by repetitive removal of tapes and adhesives.

  • Instructions for use
    Underneath the Appliance
    -    Prepare the skin and make sure it is clean and dry, using a Peri-Stoma
    - Cleanser & Adhesive Remover wipe
    - Use a skin barrier wipe or spray to protect your skin and let it completely dry
    - Remove the white paper backing from the skin barrier arc
    - Place the skin barrier arc directly on the skin around the stoma
    - Use your fingertips to smooth and press the skin barrier arc onto the skin so the skin barrier arc and skin form a secure seal
    - Apply the ostomy appliance

    Over the Appliance
    - Prepare the skin and make sure it is clean and dry, using a Peri-Stoma cleanser and adhesive remover wipe
    - Remove the white paper backing from the skin barrier arc Place the skin barrier arc directly around the edges of the wafer or appliance forming a picture frame around the border of the wafer. (see picture)
    - Use 1-3 arcsUse your fingertips to smooth and press the skin barrier arc around the appliance or wafer to create a secure waterproof seal
